Ok easy question.

Are you getting annoyed with the way timestop works?

By this I mean that if one person casts it on level 12 it will then timestop the whole of undermountain.

It seems to me that some servers I've played on had it either localized, where it affected the area it was cast in only, or completely disabled. It's a handy spell for a mage, but it sure is a pain in the rear.

Yeah i've found some good scripts and passed them on to Ziroc that localise the spell to 50 feet.

Seems like a good idea.

I would hate to have to take the spell out as it is a powerful tool for mages.

It is a tad annoying, but I only REALLY get bothered when someone uses it several times in a short period. Once is not too bad as it is only a minute or so but more than that is irritating.

Localized use of it would be the perfect solution, I think.

I think that some of the bad guys have it and someone said that the guardians in Skullport use it too. So it's not just other players, particularly if the unkillable ogre gets out and the guardians do really have it.

I'd be in favour of localized timestops, but it doesn't bother me much.
