I've just installed CEP and the hak paks etc and logged onto EfU but it greys out the pre-made character choice and I only have 'create a new char' as an option which gets me a level one char.

Any idea what's up?

Because we have been unable to use premades for a long time now.

Only server characters are allowed,

and that means Ziroc's got the library of PCs.

Welcome back!

Whe have gone Server Vault now Cloudy.

This means that you create a new character and start from level 1.

When you get into the game talk to Durnan and he will level you up to level 7.

This was done to keep all the uber custom made item people out.

Cheers!

Aww, thanks Irdmukasa! How very gallant of you!

Thanks for the info Larry and TDC!

You know, one of the things I love most about IW and especially the NWN EfU gang is the incredibly sweet, friendly and helpful people we get!

I always get answers to questions and have had such a wonderful time in EfU with a lot of different members!

Wish I'd just gone ahead in on Friday night, now! Can't play too late on weeknights because of work and this Friday I can't be up too late as we're going to visit friends for the day on Saturday. But I'm going to get back into things at EfU at some point!

Thanks, TDC!!!

WhooHooo! I got back in tonight! Godisnak was there to help my poor poison-prone Bard/red dragon disciple.

My husband, Nachtrafe, was playing NWN AND in EfU for the first time ever and he really enjoyed his first foray into the Undermountain. Yippeee! We'll most likely play on Friday or Saturday nights (Easter Std Time, US).

Nice!

Make sure you sign up on Team IW so we know what player names to look out for.

I'm currently running around with a Character inspired by my wife.

She told me if I was going to be playing so much I should at least play with a character she likes.

Godisnak is good to have around (for a half orc ) when Ta'rant Hellforge and Godisnak get together Undermountain trembles with our might!

We're both on the Team IW thread. I edited mine to put in the char that I started on the server last night.

LOL, yah, Aronia died at least once before Godisnak came in and chaperoned us for a while! I'd forgotten how tough that place can be, even on level one!

ROTFL...my 6'3" husband is playing a dwarf named Bronwyn.

Yeah, we've done some damage to Undermountain

Although I think Ta'rant has given Godisnak fleas!
