I've finally come to the final chapter of bg1(&totsc) and I can't stop the undercellar/elder city video clip playing. It's doing my head in. I've tried the patches as recommended in this forum but they either won't download or won't work. Please help me as i've been at this for over two years-note that I'm quite busy rather than being the slowest rpg player in the world.
Yours hopefully, Thalar Shadowcloak-the name of my last character in D&D.

I'm not quite sure what your problem is mrtunafish (by the way, WELCOME TO IRONWORKS!!), is it that you wish to skip the movie but cant, or the movie plays and causes your game to crash, but there isnt a way to skip it? Please give more information if possible. Good luck!

Welcome to IW mrtunafish!

Your problem with the patches- what do you mean the download won't work? What happens?

What I meant was the video clip kept on playing approx. every 5 sec. The patches I intially tried to download would not download. Fortunately early this morning after several pints of Guinness to remotivate my search I found one that did and have successfully stopped that ****ing clip. Thanks for your prompt responses.
Thalar.
PS:if BG1&totsc has taken me two years any predictions for BG@&ttobhaal?

BG2+ToB will probably take longer to beat than BG1+ToTSC.

I'd guess prolly 1.5-2 times as long to beat the BG2 games.

hmmm. Depends if you explore all of the BG1 map that takes a while. I do that every time though so you get to know where everything is which speeds it up. I suppose its the same with BG2, once you know where everything is you can whizz through it.
