Question about the server....

Are all of you seeing the server online all the time? In gamespy or others? Reason I ask, is I've seen a large dip in activity. I dunno if I'm not showing up in GameSpy or others, or if everyone is on vacation (Thanksgiving) or even people waiting for Hordes...

Let me know if you see it on those lists, I am sure it's just me--I check the server at odd times [img]smile.gif[/img] --during non-peak times I think, too.

Why?? IS it that if you do not get enough people playing you will have to shut down the server or something??

Nope, just wondering if it's showing up or not. Since I posted this, I've seen a lot of players, so I guess I've been looking at non-peak hours. whew. [img]smile.gif[/img]

It may be because that its Deer season on the east coast. I noticed the same thing everytime I have had a chance to play on the EfU server. I have been the only one there. In fact each time I've logged on lately it looks like I'm the only one that has been in for hours, No dead bodies or treasures laying around from previous kills. I think everyone may be waiting for the new expansion. Same thing on the other NWN sites and even a mention of a slowdown of server use on game spy.

Don't worry to much "Z" things will pick soon .

Well, It seems REAL busy today! [img]smile.gif[/img] and yesterday as well.. About the 'no bodies' and stuff, well, when I see noone on after a bit, I reset the game, so everything is fresh. I usually do it every 8-12 hours and sometimes at night EST, I leave it up without a reset from 9pm till 1pm the next day! [img]smile.gif[/img]

It was sure busy last night. (friday) when I got there, I think there were 15 or 16 others on all different levels. I'v never seen so many on at the same time. I tried to get to lvl 11 but there was to much lag, it turned out to be on my end and not yours. My son was hosting a game of freelancer on his Alien Ware and had 8 of his friends playing so it tied up my gameing on line.
