IS a Neverwinter Nights a good game, I mean I heard from a friend that it is based more on D&D rules and there are lesser loading times than in Baldurs Gate?

IMHO it is not good as BG. BG series trupms NWN like there`s no tommorow. NWN is really a hack`n`slash game but with 3d Edition Rules and such... It is good but not as good as BG. True magic of NWN is multi-player and our Ironworks team and 3d edition Rules, and new skills and feats. But BG II will also have 3d edition rules. Very soon, when the Icewind Gate II comes out. for Weimer!
ADD]Of course this is just my opinion. [ 08-28-2003, 07:16 AM: Message edited by: Xen ] |

Although the single player game is not as good as the expansion's single-player game...and both do not compare to BG series...and no there is no BGIII that is an official version unless somebody has made a mod for one amateurly....but I like NWN because I can build a huge game and let my friends play it online, or I can join a Multi game that somebody has built like Ziroc's Undermountain, or I can download a new adventure every day from the server vaults on nwn's website. This game has so much potential yet untapped, and a second expansion is arriving in November that will add even more fun to the game, both with it's single-player and it's components to build a better module on my own.

There is an unofficial X-box conversion of BG which is sometimes referred to as BG3, Baldurs Gate - Dark Alliance. Heard it ain't that good though.

I have Baldurs Gate - Dark Alliance on the Play Station 2. It is not bad, not great but not bad. There is an evpansion that is coming out for it later this year.
