Ok...I have four of the tomes, I only need the Tome of Ice...which is in the tower South of Port Llast. I got past the bridge troll and the two ogres...but the gate is locked and it says I need a key. I went back to Wanevs cottage but the door going down also needs a key...so where is this key I'm supposed to find?

Unsavoury guy in the tavern in town. Sells you theiving stuff ? If you make your Lore Roll you'll even get his name and everything ? He gives you the key to wanev's house and a quest. The house contains a ward stone to get to wanev's tower , the tower's got the goodies....
