Insane levels with TOTSC and Ulgoth's Beard. Spoilers.

Okay, I've been playing every location for the first time and each of my five party members are levels 7-8. I have just entered Baldur's Gate, too. I think Durlag's Tower gave me the most experience. In a usual game my party would be like...levels 5-7 at the end of the game. Awesome.

Anyways, how do I get to Ulgoth's Beard? will it be available after some event? Or what location would I need to use to get there from?

Ulgoth's Beard is accessible as soon as you hit Chapter 1--it's a bit dicey for a Level 1 party to tiptoe all the way to Wyrm's Crossing (the bridge leading to BG City) and head north to Ulgoth's Beard, but it's doable.

If you're playing BG Trilogy, though, you're not allowed to visit Ulgoth's Beard until after you've beaten the final battle of normal BG.

Six just told you....go north from the bridge leading to the city....on the eastern side of the bridge past the witch's house.

BTW: Right now I AM trying to reach high levels with both DSotSC and Harder MODs installed. The Harder MOD gives the monsters 3 times the original HP, but gives the party 2 times the original XP for each kill in return.

well, im playing trilogy and my chars are all level 8 not that far from level 9 and imoen is level 7thief, level 8mage. And i havent even done any TotSC yet. iv done basically every quest in the game (I always do this) and am about to go and kill "you know who"
