How do I open the single player campaign!

ok this may sound REALLY stupid but. . .i have tried
a lot to open the single player files to modify
stuff in it like enemies,etc. but i cant. for some reason
some stupid thing wont let me open the file.
any help would be MUCH appreciated.

The files are read only, so be sure to change that before you make any changes. Also, be sure to back up the original files. When you install a new patch, the update program checks the version of the campain files, and won't update them if they're different.

Go into the Toolset without opening anything. Choose Open from the File menu. Down at the bottom, you'll see radio buttons. Click the Campaign button and you'll see the campaign modules listed. Just pick the one you want. The larger ones (like chapters 2 and 3) will take quite a while to load and save. Chapter 2 crashed when I tried to apply a hak pack, so make sure you have a powerful computer if you're doing stuff like that.
