Bad Strref Fire Damage?....spoiler thread...

Hey you guys!

Great game and completely un-guessable ending! I am going threw one more time with a Elven Wizard and checking out the magical aspect compared to Barbarion approach. Level 3 so far and very different in battle to say the least.

Well, to get on to the topic of this thread. I finished very strong and leveled up on the death hit on Morag to the 16th. I aquired a very nice greataxe and tested it out. Normally it does 2D6 Fire Damage.
What happens is I greater rage out combo power attack and come up with one moment where I have Bad Strref Fire Damage. Anyone hear of this before and what are the stats..?

LOL!
It did say Bad Strref Fire Damage- I know its sounds like bad breath-.
It probably gives you bad breath with all the fire burning hacking going on but here are some stats if it will help to get this answer.

Greataxe +2;
+23/+18/+13/+8
1-12+9 crit: 19-20/x3
2D6 Fire Damage

I have Weapon focus (greataxe)
Improved Critical (greataxe)
Power attack
Greater rage

As said in the above post I end up with these stats;
+21/+16/+11/+6
1-12+18/x3 and BSFD. ?

If you get the "Bad strref" error, then simply quit to the main menu, and reload. It should be fixed...

This has been a bug that has always plagued me since version 1.11. The latest patches (from 1.23 onwards) fixes this error message when using (improved) power attack.
