What is your 1. most favorite, and 2. most despised monster?
Mine...

1. favorite is ogre ("Me will crush you! Crush you to goo!")
lol...
2. most despised is ogre mage (MASSIVE superiority complex).

You don't like to make things easy do you? Ok I have 2 favorites, so there!!
Favorite(s):
1.Ogre Mage (the only remotely challenging creature in BG1 - the ToTSC)
2.Gibberlings (and most other small critters that charge blindly to their own demise)

Most disliked? Umm.... Sirens (2 words: Dire Charm)

Favorite is sword spider. How cool are they.
Most disliked is definately either basilisk or siren. I can't decide whether dire charm or petrification is worse

well, for me,
Greater Basilisk is both favorite and despised,.
favorite for it gives healthy and easy XP, despised for if taken its petrifying ability away (one lvl 2 mage spell can take care of that), it's nothing, yet killing it gives 7000 XP!!!! Ankheg is much tougher to kill, but how much XP you get?

a side note, the most feared for me, the wolves just outside the candlekeep.

Basilisks are easy kills IF you know they're there. IF I do I like them: cast PfP and charge but what annoys me is when I wander around minding my own business and suddenly Minsc is a statue Being ambushed by a basilisk is not realy extra nice

ok...after the first encounter with them, you'll know when they're around...basilisks make certain unique sound, it's loud and clear while they're still out of sight. Whenever I heard the sound, pfp, and go haunting for easy and healthy XP
