Spoiler
6 6 6 6 6 6 6 6 6 6 6 6 6 Well I found the Never tomb and guess the correct item to go in the chest ( wow that was easy ) but when I get inside I have the smack layed down on me in 1 round. I am a lvl 6 fighter armuor of ease and long sword +1. I have tomi as my henchman ( he dies in one hit ) I tried to get to the chest and grab the items and that does not work. What I am after is a what lvl/class were you when you tackled this? And is this intened to be the hardest fight yet?

I had the same problem... not a chance to survive the fight. However, the first time I tried to run to the items I made it, and recalled out of there without a scratch (and my henchwoman was waiting for me at the temple).

Are you talking about the FINAL tomb of Lord Never himself, or the initial place where you first see that guy from the temple guarding it? If its the initial time, you need to go to a side-room off the Hall of Justice and talk to some guy with a name starting with O - (Oreff? Oreck) and he gives you a letter of acess... there is aparently much more to it... you start with a journal.. if you are at the final tomb, how did you get there? i am stuck at the journal stage.

There’s a tomb in each of the districts you go too. Open the chest next to the tomb door read the note inside the chest and solve the riddle to open the door. If your at the tomb with the flying swords leave tommi outside quaff a potion of speed and dash to the chest and pause the game, take the items from the chest and dash back out of the room or use your recall stone, don't try to fight the swords, I have not heard of anyone beating them yet.
Beggars nest>>Great graveyard Blacklake>>take a left after you enter the district, talk to little girl outside house and follow what she says. Docks>>Aqua ducts __________________________________________________ ____________________ "Arm yourselves, and be ye men of valour, and be in readiness for the conflict; for it is better for us to perish in battle than to look upon the outrage of our nation and our altar."

the swords are easy, fight them one at a time, if your health are below 40% use stone of recall to portal at the temple and heal. portal back and repeat and repeat.
every tough monsters can be defeated by this tactic. well almost. |

If you have any potions of invisibility, this is quite easy. Just tell your henchperson to leave (stand ground won't work), use the potion, go into the tomb, get the loot and come back out. The henchperson will be waiting right where you left them.

I ran around the back of the main structure until I got only one sword following me, drank lots of potions (barkskin, strength potions, etc. beforehand) and took them out one by one with the cat and mouse tactic. I think you get 136 XPs from each of them.

gah.. ok i found all except the "aqueduct" in the docks.. i did come across that really tough fight with the gleaming swords.. are they undead? if so i could probably do it as i play a cleric.. but yes they kicked my butt 4 times before i realized they might be undead, by that time i was in the other districts looking for the other 2. (never did find the docks one) yes this fight was much tougher than anything else in chapter one. I think the second toughest was the yuan-ti. i had to reload and level once or twice beofre i could defeat her ( did at level 5 or 6 at last).
