Did I say handy-dandy in the topic line? Sorry, I'm from Minnesota .

Anyways, as I said, what is everyone planning to do with the toolset? Are you going to create a little mod that's just a tiny little adventure? Are you going to create involved campaigns for you to precide(sp?) over as DM? Are you going to create adventures for you and your friends? Are you actually going to create an entire world to travel in? Or are you going to leave it alone and adventure in other people's mods?

Personally, I want to make an entire world and then come up with adventures as I go along as the DM. That way somebody is going to go "You're not doing what I think you're doing are you?" and then you say "What're you thinking?" and then they tell you and you do everything you possibly can to lead them off of that track and make them think something else and you actually make their worst fears come true (and you had no idea what those fears were until they told you ). Either that or a variation of the idea. As you may be able to tell, I'm an AD&D DM (yes I still play 2E).

Just wondering what everyone was thinking of doing. There are so many possibilities!!!

Me and some friends are going to create a whole multiplayer world, and host it on our server, for public access. Should be cool.

One of the first things I want to do with it (probably a trite idea but one I have been waiting for for years) is the Keep on the Borderlands. Also there is a local shop that has DOZENS of the old modules. Eventually I want to recreate as many of them as I can.

I plan on translating some good old P&P adventures myself, starting with small modules and eventually creating a whole campaign. I already spend a good deal of time each week preparing as a P&P DM (2nd edition w/player options), NWN is sure to eat up some of that time!

I think I'm going to try and make some connected modules. Start with the ones for new characters, then make the next for 4-6 level, then 7-9, and so on. I've been reading the World Builders guide and it makes the toolset seem even easier than I thought from using the beta.

The first thing I'll do when I get aorund to useing the world builder is to convert a lot of my PnP characters and their holdings into the Computer format, then Ill work on making quests to run people through with my old characters as NPC's.

Madriver,

How are you finding the World Builder's Guide? Is it worth the $20? More useful than the tutorials at the Vault? A copper common for your thoughts . . .
