No, not if you mean like Everquest. The different DM's are setting up dungeons, campaigns, etc. on thier individual servers and announcing their requirements. Some are easy, others impossible. But, there is going to be a lot of choice.

No fee, and finding a quick game will be easy as well. My understanding is that they have an in-game GUI that utilizes Gamespy (but you don't go through the gamespy web page, supposedly) and list all current games, their requirements, and their options (like PK and looting).
Or you can connect through direct IP address I think.

But definitely no fee to play.

oh hoo boy. Gamespy. I am so thrilled. Their service for all the other online games has been soo good too.

Note the heavy use of sarcasm in this post.

Why oh why oh why are they using gamespy to host anything??? Their service sucks! When I was playing Sacrifice on line... Let me amend that, trying to play Sacrifice on line, the servers were hosted by gamespy and were always down, finicky or kicking people off. They said that I was behind a firewall half the time. This bodes not well. Even if they don't actually have any direct control I'm sure they'll find a way to bollocks it up.

Yeah, a lot of people are not very happy with it (me included), but the interface is made and the contracts signed so they can't do anything about it now.
