OK, all these are my ideas on what they should do with NWN:

Hmm.. For one I really do hope they use 3rd edition rules in NWN, rather than the traditional 2nd ed. Allowing players to be any class and race will be rather interesting, rather than using a hack program to create your own.. Having people create adventures and campaigns is putting the CRPG closer to PnP.. The allowance of more than 6 party members, just add more DM's.. That's about all I can think of, does anybody else have some 'hopes' for the upcoming game?

I couldn't agree more with this statement. 3rd edition is a strong system, and much more flexible then 2nd.

I'm all for multiplayer gaming aswell, and I hope that NWN will become one of the most popular online games. That said, I do hope that the one player game has plenty of effort put into it. After finishing the Bhaal Child saga, I miss the gripping storyline presented in those games. It would be great if NWN could live up to Baldur's Gate in turns of characters and storyline aswell.

I'm also praying that the editor will be easy to pick up. It'd be nice to convert some of the old PnP modules onto the PC.

I think they Do use 3rd edition in NWN
so no need to worry

Aye, but they don't seem to be remaining entirely true to the PnP game (see numerous other rants by me on this forum ). They claim in the advetisments that it's based on 3rd edition, but I wonder: just how much '3rd edition' will it be?
