Aurum, could you give us more detail? Where are is your party currently in the game? What is your situation? I am assuming you have Tales of the Sword Coast installed and you took Mendas' quest.

Have you gone to Ulgoth's Beard yet?
It sounds like you haven't, or atleast you haven't talked to every person in the town. You will meet this Mendas fellow there in a little house and he will offer you a quest which will basically explain your said question. The only way that you will be able to reach the ship is by talking and excepting his quest, then you will soon find out that the ship is on......
