Heya,
I stumbled across this today. I thought it was long ago lost! It's an image of the official website for Westwood's Swords & Sorcery (before it became Activision's Wizards & Warriors). A nice walk down memory lane... http://www.deloff.com/jerry/resume/l...ery/index.html |

Fascinating, and thanks for the link, alz! Good to see you, BTW!
It looks like Bradley started it out like Morrowind, being able to switch between 1st and 3rd person view, then must have ditched 3rd person view when it switched to W&W. Nice "blast from the past"...but I think all of us would love to see a "blast from the future" as well, if you get my drift! ![]() -Sazerac |

Yeah, S&S started back in '95. Actual game production started in '97. So Morrowind wasn't even out there back then. I remember seeing Quake 1, Diablo 1 and Tombraider 1 appear when we were working on S&S!
I still wish the 1st/3rd person camera was left in -- it was pretty cool. I think the game was a big growing pain for old school technology and budding 3D technology (S&S was originally designed to be software only, that's how long ago it should have been out). I haven't heard a peep from the HP camp in almost a year now. Not sure if it's still there (just Bradley and one guy last I heard) or if it's totally folded up. |

Thanks Alz. That was cool, but I wasn't able to view any of the screenshots. I got a 404 error message. Is that what the rest of you experienced?
