Need help climbing, went to the oldmillhouse could not climb down the ladder, fell down it actually. I killed the spider got the eggs but can not climb up the ladder. I thought you used the numpad0 key to jump/climb. I have not installed the patch.

Get just in front of the ladder (or just to the side), look up slightly, and start walking. You should be able to climb the ladder.
Climbing down is difficult, I agree...fortunately, there are very few places in the game where ladders are required. -Sazerac |
