Unlock?

Press print screen, which is usualy on the top right of your keyboard, and hen alt-tab to the desktop and load up microsoft paint. Or any image program will do, but M$ paint is quick to use and everybody has it. Press CTRL+V, to paste the image in. Save as normal and do whaever you want with it.

IIRC, Print Screen saves the screenshot into the ScrnShot folder in BG1 directory.
Or is it BG2 only?

No, it works in BG as well. If you've installed BG to c:\program files\baldur, any screenshots you make in-game by pressing the Print Screen button, screenshorts will end up in the newly created c:\program files\baldur\scrnshot directory. You can open them with paint, by browsing to that directory, or open them by going there usig my computer and they'll open in whatever program you've set as a default for files like that
