I know I should not have done this. But I was up to something else and just bumped into Oakenmir with my level 14 Ninja soloing. It took a while to take him out, but the Ninja received about 12 million exp points. I could not believe what I saw. Of course he had levelled, which ended at 60 with more than 700 mana in every book.

Now, if you want to climb to lvl 70 in no time, go kill Erasmeador

I will definitely not keep that game. Is it possible generally to to have this high level by levelling one by one level too ?
And is there any other benefit except getting more mana ? |

You get more Hit Point, better Skills level and more experience.
It is quite normal to go as high as level 130 when you're playing single. You can achieve that even without killing Erasmeador or Oakenmir. Personnally, I don't enjoy killing them, but I follow the path the character has forged himself into (an assassin will kill them...). One thing for sure when playing solo, I never get the Crusade trait... it totally unbalaces the game. Good luck on your new game and don't forget to tell us how you're doing ![]() |

Ryanamur, why does Crusade unbalance the game as you stated above?

Crusade would unbalance the game for a one-player party because it gives double XP for killing any undead. With the amount of undead that are in this game, it makes the game way too easy.
Of course, for that very reason is why I never liked playing a solo character. I like the Crusade trait, but I use it in a party game myself. -Sazerac |
