Hmmm, I've been wandering about for the last few days... is it me or this forum is slowly "fading"?

I must admit that I miss the glorious days. Times where many posted and quickly received an aboundace of replies. Today, it seems that the "many" posts have been replaced by "sparce" post. Over the last week, we only had a handfull of players seeking help. Yet, they received it quickly.

I wish the good old days would come back... but they probably won't

Well, it will soon be a year since the game was released, Ryan. The initial furor has definitely worn off. However, there are a lot of us still here at IW. Most of us W&W players are waiting with bated breath for the upcoming Wiz 8 (if and when it should ever appear) so I have a feeling when it is finally released, you'll find a HUGE amount of activity in that forum.

In the meantime, keep posting! W&W hasn't had everything milked out of it yet.

Cheers,
-Sazerac

Yep, a year is actually quite a long time for this game... Now that it's available at great discount prices, we might (I hope) see an increase in traffic.

Nonetheless, I'm also waiting for W8... and from the looks of it, we might have a big competition at release time with Morrowind - The game I'm eagerly awaiting .

This remains my home as well, but I know I'm less visible than most, because I rarely answer posts unless it looks like no one else is, or the title is interesting (especially if artwork is included or it's a GSExaminer). I'll keep watching!

I agree, though, that it's slowed down. And for myself, I don't care to read posts about killing trees or other innocent creatures (too much dryad in me???)or hear people complaining about how easy the game is after they've cheated their way through. Anyone who likes the game is in my good books!

I forgot to mention that I have looked around and these forums are one of my new homes. Im on Black Isle's boards and now here. These will probably be my mainstays when I get stuck and I will reply to posts when I can be of assistance! I love this game, takes me back to all the hundreds of hours I spent Playing Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord, Bane of the Cosmic Forge and Crusaders of the Dark Savant. Those three games have absorbed many hundreds of hours of my free time over the years

I haven't been online much in the last 8 weeks or so and also haven't been able to play my game =o( ggrrr...been alot going on in the home front...but LMAO...tonight is the first night I've been online in the past couple months and this was the first stop after email! LOL

I'll be getting back on my game and on the boards now ... and by the way I've missed the posts and have been enjoying catching up on them tonight.

Hmmm...if memory serves me right, (damn a couple months of non-play can hurt! LOL) my party is somewhere in the mine area....LOL
