After killing the Unholy Filth in the Serpent Temple, I can't find that air bubble with a treasure chest before everybody drowns. Could someone please give me some directional assistance in getting to this? TIA

We didn't get any air until the end of the tunnel where there's something you kinda need. Bring up your automap as soon as the Filth is dead, and follow the tunnel. If you have a save before that reload until you have the tunnel memorized, and then you can do it more quickly.

Also, a few of us have found that it helps to have your smallest character selected while you are trying to reach the other end of the tunnel. For some reason, if you have a larger character selected (lizzord, whiskah, elf), that one might get stuck.

Negative, Wyv. I'm afraid it's a game-ender for me.

You really don't have to go down in the Serpent Holds. The item found there, the serpent statue, is only needed to get the Book of the Servant in the Library. If you know the text contained in the book then you don't need it either. Here's a link to the Book's text required for the Serpent's Ritual.

Yeah, Xignal! I couldn't even remember what was in there! Just knew it was something you needed(unless you post here, that is).

Thanks for the tips, all. I'll pass them on to the person I gave the game to (a waitress at a restaurant where I'm a regular). I also told her about this great site, and all you great people. Maybe someday they'll come out with an "Autoplay" feature or an invulnerability cheat code, so that non-experts like me can see the rest of the cool stuff in this game. I'm gonna put my combat craving on the back burner for a while, and play some nice, safe mystery games. Carry on the good fight, fellow questers.
