Where's Juba?

Where exactly can Juba Thobers be found? I'm anxious to put him out of the world's misery.

Go out the west gate of Valeia and trek around, he'll find you.

Actually, it doesn't really matter which gate you go out of...

I went to the Crypt after receiving that quest, and upon leaving the Crypt to head back to Valeia, I was ambushed by Juba in the Cemetery. In a previous game, he was found near the southern shore of Nymph Lake.

I believe that you just have to wander around until he finds you.

He actually is "spawned" just west of the clearing where you find the horse, in all the trees there. But, as it's been said already, he will seek you if you take too long to find him.

Best way - go out the gate and cast Spirit Eye - look for white dots. If you see one floating about all on it's own then that is probably him. I found him in a dead end path, that was north and west of Valeia on both of my play throughs. I just worked my way from dot to dot untilI found him.

Take the way from the horse to the lake shore through the dark forest. More precisely: there are three ways from the horse: to the east gate (wrong), to the west gate (wrong), and a direct way to the lake (correct). Juba is usally there after your getting the quest but do not forget that Juba is actively searching for you, therefore, Juba can be anywhere later on. In that case, ignore him and do other things. Juba will find you in the end.
