After receiving the "Magic Elixer" quest from the Priest Guild, I took the potion and gave it to Mekdawa. After a few tries, I succeeded, and the Elixer disappeared from my inventory, but the Guild won't give me credit for completing the quest. Is there any way to get another Elixer (similar to what the Arbiter would do in Might and Magic VII)? I don't have a save game to go back to.

Make sure that the right character in the party is selected when you are trying to get credit. Also, was he the one who gave the potion to our friend the toad. Anyone who is priest guild should be able to pick up a potion - I had all 6 characters join and get a potion to complete the quest.

Also be certain to let the Guild Masters talk through their whole speech before you do something else.
First game I played I had great difficulty getting credit for the Paladin quest all because I wasn't letting the Guild Masters finish speaking before I started to do something else (buying/selling/etc). Hope that helps! Wyv |

I had the same problem but I went back and pick pocketed it from him, then re-gave it to him. Make sure he says something like, I need this or Toads need this. After that you'll get credit for it.

I did something dumb like used the potion instead of giving it to him. It disapeared from my inv. and could not get credit. It took me a little time to figure this out. So i went back to a previous save and made sure he took it.
It can be a little tricky but i got credit. Hope this helps |

Are you playing with the patch or not. If you're not, the patch fixes quest recognition problems. However, some people do not like the patch 'cause it limits the advantageous bugs in the game.
