This game is starting piss me off. First no clues for the 6 door puzzle - only trial and error which isnt fun. Then I spent the last hour and a half trying to figure out why i couldnt get the fricking spider egg to go on the grate. Why would the programmers have you "use" the flask, but "drop" the spider egg. No where else in the game (so far) have you dropped anything to get something to work. Im starting to have so little faith in the creators of the puzzles that I head straight for the spoiler now. Here is my next nightmare - HELP - I need the heretic key apparently. I remember speaking to Kol outside the Front and telling me about the secret entrance; I dont however remember him giving me a key. And I never throw out keys and none in my inventory works. Kol is no longer outside, I heard you meet up with him later, but if cant imagine the game would have him leave if i missed a dialogue tree the first time to get the key. What should i do?

Mgdorsey,
There is no way to get Heretic Key after Kol left you near the main entrance of the Serpent temple. But this key is not important - you do not need it to finish the game! Without this key you'll miss only couple of ankhs and dialog with Kerah's statue - nothing more! ------------------ Sincerely Yours, Tanda |

Wyvern CAN edit yor save-game and get you the key... Just post a thread asking her for the help...

If you still want this key there are two ways:
1) Load the early saved game - talk to Kol near main entrance ( tell him "Kerah" or "Key" - this is the long way. 2) Ask Wyv to help!  ------------------ Sincerely Yours, Tanda |

yeah i got the same problem too. Kol and Krueg never gave me any keys but found out later I dont really need them anyway. Kol's key gets you to see Kerah for some treasures, and krueg's key opens the *SPOILER ALERT*
serpent grate to get the serpent idol. You wont need the treasures and wont need the serpent idol. There's ways around them ------------------ |
