Got the idea from over at "User Defined Polls"...but this is directed at our forum.

If there were to be a movie made about Wizards & Warriors, who would you cast to play the various parts? Which actors and actresses, I mean?

The NPC's: Kerah, Lord Anephas, Lord Cet, Shinwiki, Elyssia, Kol, D'Soto, Ardibren, Erzebette, Freyedies, the Boogres, Erathsmedor, Hephaestus, G'Ezzered Ra, Adrianna, Talrik, Oakenmir? (just to name a few...also, don't forget the town NPC's! Would anyone be able to play Sabastio???)

Also: who would you want to play the characters in your party? Who should be the "Chosen One" and who else would you cast for your other players?

My own votes would be (to start out):

Kerah: Michelle Pfieffer
Anephas: James Earl Jones
Lysandra: Sinead O'Connor
Bratsol: Kevin Spacey
Oakenmir: Sean Connery (he's the only one who could pull it off, I think!)
Ardibren: Danny DeVito
Elyssia: Amanda Donohoe
G'Ezzered Ra: Christopher Lloyd
Freyedies: Robin Williams

My own choice for "the Chosen One": Matt Damon (male) or Jennifer Lopez (female).

I'll try to think of others...but what about your ideas? Who would you cast?

I guess I'd have to agree with Adam on Kerah. She sure has the bum for it! HEEEhee!! ;-D I would be a terrible casting director, except to maybe confirm the ideas of others. I can't think of them on my own, with rare exceptions.

And who could we get to play Sebastio - hmm, pompous windbag like that requires a politician methinks. Then again, Geoffry Robinson from the "Hypothetical" series is a possibility.

Davros

PS - Sean Connery for Erathsmador or Oakenmuir??

There used to be an actor in commercials who could talk about a zillion words per minute - I nominate HIM for Sebastio!!!

Kerah = Melanie Griffith (I think her voice is angelic and she is beautiful)

The Choosen One = her hubby, Antonio Banderous (I know I am not spelling their names right )

Sebastio = Regis Philben

Earthsmedor = Morgan Freeman

Lysandra = Madonna

Oakenmir = William Shatner (Unless he had a bigger part - LOL)

Lysandra: I say Demi Moore (think movies: 'G.I. Jane' and 'Striptease')

Sean Connery for Erathsmador (remember 'Dragonheart?')

Do they have to be still alive for this? I hope not, here goes nothing then.

Erathsmedor: Michael Horden/Sean Connery
Oakenmyr: Jack May/Michael Horden
that ratling Assassin ("Hey, I'm talking to you"): Danny DeVito
Freyedies: (the actor who played Bunkar in Willow, that dwarf spearman)
Anephas: Charleton Heston (although I've only seen one film of his that he didn't die at the end of)
Cet: Tim Curry/ Rutger Hauer
Shinwiki: James Earl Jones (listen to those toad voices)

That short, Turkish guy with the thick black beard as Bilbumph, Michael Maloney as The Chosen One/ D'Soto, Ian Holm as D'Soto, Karl Howman as Bratsol, Edward Kelsey (Joe Grundy from The Archers) as Bilbumph's brother and Jim Carey as Scabban.
That should about do it for now, I've got loads of others in mind but I can't remember their names right now.
