OT -- Just to let everyone know what's going on...

For those of you who may not have realized, there was an *ahem* misunderstanding between Ironworks and another forum, TeamBG, this past week. Because of this, security has been "beefed" up among the moderators and there has been at least one ban that I know of. Right now, we're all trying to return to a relative state of normalcy.

This is an issue predominantly in the Baldur's Gate gaming community, and as such, has nothing to do with Wizards & Warriors. It would be the same if people from the HPI board came over to our forum and started flaming us, just to give an example.

The only reason that I'm bringing this up here is that there have been some people meandering over to the GD board, seeing the old threads with all the flames in them, and reacting to them, stirring up the mess all over again. If you do go over to General Discussions (which is where the "war" took place), please do not stir this up. We are trying our best to let it die down and keep it dead.

It's truly not our business (W&W).

Thanks...now back to regularly scheduled programming.

and new threads keep cropping up.

The threads are locked, but not gone. The "powers that be" mentioned people making accusations that the mods here were editing or deleting their posts, so they left them there to avoid the accusation. It seems to be dying down.

Yes, it was pretty ugly. Wasn't here for it, but read most of the details. Oh well, lets just put it behind us, and move on. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.
