*minor minor spoiler*
| | | | | | Before telling you what I found : I play the french version of the game, so maybe it's different in english (you will tell me) and I will give you here a translation of the talk so it will maybe be not accurate. Anyway, I'd like your feedback on this It's about the girl that works in the kitchen of the Cloakwood Mines (3rd level - non-aggro npc). I met her first with my protagonist (elf female enchanter, 21 cha, 12 wis) and she told me something like : "You are some funny guys yadda yadda yadda but now get out of my kitchen." Then I had to reload cause...Well...I wasnt prepared for the little army of archers in the next room. So I rushed the room with Minsc, and talked to the kitchen girl on my way. But then...she told me something like : "You damn hunters, you are just passing by...none of you even want to ■■■■ me ??!!! I'm pretty, aren't I ??!!" I swear to god she said that to me...well at least in the french version. And this translation is pretty accurate, she really used the french word for "■■■■", and seeing the sentence it was really meaning what it means...lol. At first I was pretty shocked but then I laughed my ass off. But once she told you the sentence, she won't talk to you anymore. I could'nt try to talk to her with other chars cause i made some quick-save and such...but someone with spare time could try... Talk to her with Minsc and tell me what she says in english Is it just for Minsc ? Is it just for male chars ? *shrug* Well, that's all folks

If the game said fcuk, then you had to say it too didnt you? EDIT - I just knew I'd get in trouble, so I changed it [ 01-20-2003, 08:54 PM: Message edited by: Lavindathar ]

I have the french version, too. But I don't remember that part. Can you post the exact quote in french, please?

No xxxx in the English version. Got to the same place yesterday and talked to her (with Minsc).
I doubt she said that in the French version. |

Now that I think of it it may have another meaning in french canadian ? Anyone can confirm this ? Cause it has maybe been translated by Canadians...*shrug*... Anyway, in french (from France) this sentence means exactly what i explained in the first post
