Hey, You've been warned ...
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Ok, for the Ranger quest, you need this Raptor Egg, very rare, blah blah blah. So, I've looked over most of the first part of the map, and I was advised to do this part first, so I am, but I can't find a stinkin Raptor. SPoil me, please! Thanks BK |

You might have explored this area when you were exploring the river and seen no Raptors - they only show up when you have the Ranger Quest! ![]() Wyv |

Just a general hint:
Whenever you're on a Ascension quest, before heading out of town, head over to the tavern and talk to the tavern owner. He knows a LOT about what to do for Ascension questing. FYI: Did you know that the Samurai Graveyard was created during the great Elven-Gourk wars? Ask Galliwag about it when you're about to head out for the Samurai quest. He's got some great historical tidbits on the Gael Serran. -Sazerac |

ErinAnkle'sBane is my main guy and he's a Paladin
Rand is a Ranger Elle Fant is going to be some fun mage type, possibly a Warlock? Theif is going to be a well, thief then rogue. Tony Cleric is slated to play Paladin, go to other guild and play a Samuri My Pixie, Styx, is my wild card. Haven't decided where to go. Will do more research, but I like to keep my party balanced. comment? Concerns? Thanks BK |

BK: On Paladins, keep them where they are until Priest Guild level 5, when they can get their special "Crusade" trait (double XP against the undead!)
Same for Rangers...keep them where they are until Warrior's Guild level 5, when they get the coveted "Fletchery" trait...they become arrow manufacturers from that point onward and your gold problems are solved. ![]() If you're doing all the quests, Level 5 for the guilds is first attainable upon completion of the 2nd Ishad N'ha guild quest for the Warrior, Wizard, and Priest guilds. The other thing is: Rogue is a starting class; you can't ascend to "Rogue". A good ascension for a rogue would be either Bard or Ninja. With Bard you get both Moon and Fiend magic and the ability to play musical instruments, with Ninja you get only Moon magic, but the ability to hide in shadows and use "Kung Fu" (hand-to-hand combat). -Sazerac |

Hmmm, I thought I just 'Bought' the trait for Ranger ... hope I didn't blow 2500 on it .... grrr ... how high of levels should I go before considering branching out to different stuff. The idea is to get them proficient in as many different things, right? Thanks

There is the little limitation thing with skills scrolling off the available screen space which can make it difficult to increase them except by getting training in the guilds. So trying to go for everything isn't necessarily the best idea. Weapons - for example - this game REALLY favors swords and staffs and daggers. While later in the game there are nice axes - etc. I personally didn't find it worth developing these skills. Thoughts anyone else?? Wyv |
