Every time try to fight Serovok, I get zaped with the Wand of the Heavens! Why is this happening, and how can I avoid it? It does not appear untill he finally gets mad and fights you and calls his help, and then ZAP! I have no chance to fight him. Ive tried every thing I can think of to defend agianst the Wand of the Heavens, and nothing works.
(I am cheating, so I have max stats and can manipulate my defences to over come my save vs. wands stat. along with magic blocking spells and scrolls.) What am I doing wrong? |

Whilst it riles me to help someone who cheats (where's the fun in it?) nevertheless, from my own experience of the trouble I had killing Sarevok, I appreciate your problem.
1) have you scouted the area out with your priest/thief for traps? I think you'll find them everywhere (especially on the emblem of Bhall). 2) send in a shadowed thief initially, they won't get attacked once Sarevok has finished his little speech. 3) There are 3 main characters in the chamber: Sarevok, Angelo and Tazok. I managed to entice Angelo to attack me (using Imoen as bait) without the other two seeing me, thus removing one of them with relative ease. 4) if you go to the sides you'll activate a trap which creates Horrors. Avoid the sides. 5) Got a half decent wizard? Got Otiluke's Resilient Sphere memorized? Then this could be a very easy battle. With Angelo out the way, get the others to attack you. Remember avoid the Bhall floor emblem. I used Imoen again to do this. Cast ORS on one of the enemies, kill the other whilst his friend watches helplessly. 6) Then, batter the last guy. Sarevok himself is pretty tough. Hasten your characters, cast as many beneficial spells as u can on your party. Then, when killing Sarevok expect some of your guys to get very low on health. Sarevok will focus on one character at a time. When any one particular character is nearing death, get him to run away whilst everyone else continues killing Sarevok. Sarevok will pursue this character for a while. When he stops heal this wounded character quickly and get him back into the fight ASAP. Repeat this process until Sarevok is dead. Cue end cut scene |

Thank you, I did not even think of traps. Some times we miss the obvious looking to hard.
I will try this and hope it works. Thank you much for the reply. P.S. I played the game for about 6 months before i got the cheat codes. I broke down man, Im sorry, Im a disgrace to gamers every where. This game, in my opinion, is the best game ever made...period!(I do wish they would make one just like it in Dragonlance format though), and I guess I just didnt want to miss anything in the game. Thanks agian. |

Easyway....
Use boots of speed on one character and make him the "bait". Line up your characters and run past them repeatedly with the bait, as sarevok follows he will get whacked. Repeat until he is dead. Note you need to eliminate the other pesky bugs first, as mentioned above. |
