I was thinking of something. I don't know if anyone has already tried this. But try playing the game with one character. Pick a character whether it be a wizard, warrior, etc. and play the whole way through without any other characters in the party. Just thought it might be kinda kewl to be a loner

A number of players have gone solo! You might try doing a search for their threads but I'm not sure what keyword(s) would bring up the most results. Certainly would be an exciting variation on the game!

I'm doing that now with a Wizard, but I've kept some of the items from the group that finished the game. I find that a Wizard with high resistances can just bash open chests and never get affected by traps and only was slightly poisoned in the Snake Temple. She's at level 14 and I'm not sure what class to change to next.

Any advice?

You can just cast Merlin's Shield on yourself and bash open the chest without getting harmed by the spell. I've run two groups with six wizards who wouldn't have been able to get at the chests otherwise, before changing to ranger and getting Pry and Disarm. In the last third of the game they will spend all their Stone spellpoints to cast Merlin's shield spells on themselves before heading out which will neutralize most enemy spells and even reduce the effects of Jungle Lily attacks.

LOL - a dragon would be an exellent class. I wonder how a dragon could visit the tavern...

I have gone solo too with a Lizzord (50% bonus to poison resistance) and got only once or twice poisoned, started as a wizard to get stonemagic and changed roles quite often. Now I can cast almost every spell, a few are still missing, so I became a Warlock to finish out the rest. Then I will do the Assassin quest. Can't wait to meet Erathsmedor again in his lair, I miss him so much

They used to have Dragons in the Wizardry series!! The "Dracon" class: could breathe a stream of acid at will, even at Level 1! Man, I wish they had put Dracons into Wizards and Warriors, instead of the Lizzords.
