Hi all!

One of the things I found disappointing in the game was that you aren't able to have an NPC join your group.

Imagine having Torin join up and bringing him along to the Boogre Dungeon to eventually reunite with the ghost of his father!

Or dragging Shinwiki off to the Toadem to battle the Evil.

How about having Ardibren help you banish Haleabus?

I think it would be great if all these things were possible!

Exactly, Mark. Or having Talrik join you to reclaim his treasure and kill his nemesis (Bloodbeard!)

Or be able to lead Jathil to the burial grounds...

Or be able to rescue Gorthius and have him help you find H'Thark...

More NPC interaction would have been so great! (Helpful, too.) Realms of Arkania did that, actually, over 8 years ago!

And being able to UnBoogre the Boogred.

So many possible things we might have done!

Or how about moving Erzebette in Dragon Spire now that Erathsmador is no longer a threat to the countryside, where Heahpeastus could have someone to cook, clean, and do his laundry! Not to mention that he would have someone to um, talk to!

I think we should have been able to peek at the personal letters we delivered!

Some of them could have had an effect on the outcome of the game! (i.e. if you did not deliver the package to barrenhawk...knowing that inside it contained something you would not have passed along, had you known what it was...you know what I mean!)

Unboogring the Boogred would have been fantastic Wyv! I still wonder who/what those folks were before they were trapped there!

Forget who the creative soul was - but one player tried to do just that by pushing the Boogred Boogres to the idol of Aku!! Pity it wouldn't work!!

Maybe the designers under estimated how much players like to resolve such story threads - create smaller "happy endings" on the way to the BIG FINISH!

LOL! Yes, a pity after the time and effort it must have taken to push them there!

This game has SO much potential! I mean, given the time to do it up, it could have a good 6 months of playing time in it.

Let's just hope HPI has discovered this forum's enthusiasm and creates a sequel with more possibilities as per their already wonderfully creative team and as suggested by us addicted players as well!

I am one of the guilty ones. Probably not the first, but I pushed a boogre onto the idol. I even tried touching the idol while I was pushing the boogre. I tried giving the Evil Eye to Malgrim. After a while, I just gave up.

I could almost believe that they are too stupid to understand that I am trying to help them. After all, I dragged Jathil onto the graveyard and asked him about it while he was trapped behind a gravestone. No dice. He still couldn't find the graveyard while he was in it. I think the only reason he hasn't gone home is because he can't find it.

I pinched Grunaxe's ring and tried giving it to Torin. Again, no dice. I figured the best way to reunite father and son was to kill them both and let them meet in the afterlife. Perhap Grunaxe can beat some sense into his son's head.

I even tried pushing Mekdowa up to the Toad village just to get him to shut up and stop asking why I never went there. Pushing Mekdowa through water is harder than pushing a boogre. A boogre, you can hit, lead him near the idol and then charm him.

And just think. Becoming a boogre makes you more stupid, and look how stupid these other characters are..... No wonder I couldn't make a boogre touch the idol.

LMAO Knarfling!

That last paragraph just summed it all up!

I do remember trying to give Torin the ring as well...Jathil and Mekdawa, I just took wide paths around!

As much as I remember wanting to find out who the other Boogres were, I don't actually remember trying to get one to the idol, but then I can't say I did not try because there are alot of little things like that that just escape me.

Mildly Cognicent Impaired,
