I just killed oakenmir, it took me 15 minutes hacking away at him and by the time i was finished all my swords (except the mavin) were wrecked, he must have 15000 health points. The secret was to lure him into the water where he cant summon aid and cant cast his whirlwind spell properly.
but it was well worth it as i got seven figures of experience and increased my characters by 8 lvls. |

![]() Oakenmir had 8,482 hit points and is worth 10,338,538 EX and was a NICE tree! (sniff) Wyv (lots of players go for killing the "good" NPCs in this game - and small surprise given that the game designers made it so rewarding to do so) |

Hi wyvern i only got 1,700,000 for oakenmir, must be difficulty adjustment or the patch.
Few questions: My warlock has artifacts skill of 6 and stone sun and fiend enchant spells, but i cant seem to enchant the rings he has in his inv, is it because they are special (already have enchantments unlike the simple silver rings). Is it possible to kill the dragon? And Kerah? And Anephas? And G 'ezera? And ...hehe |

Divide the experience up between your characters and it probably comes out right (with some of the adjustments that come with various skills and the like)
Do you have the Enchant Skill?? You need to have that as well as have the spells learned as well. The Artifacts skill is for identification, not enchanting. Oh sigh - yes, you can kill the dragon and whole bunch of other NPCs except the one that deserves it (Sebastio) but this is only possible when they have no other part to play in the rest of the game. You're having fun, aren't you?? ![]() Wyv |

Usually, if you kill a good NPC, your alignment should change to evil. That is one key to the game I don't get why they put it in there. If your fighting off evil, wouldn't you be good?

Personaly when it comes to the dragon I see nothing wrong with killing him after you have the Mavin sword. Lets just say you don't kill the thrird watcher what is he going to do..??...answer nothing he has no Mavin sword to guard no more. As Anephas says at the end of the game give the Mavin to Kerah to take to the heavens never to be held by a mortal again. This makes no need for the watchers anymore so therefore the dragon is redundent and fair game.
As for Oakenmir what was hes point in the game again....?? ------------------ ![]() |
