I was nearly finished anephas's shirine and my main character (sort of), Lara got a level up. at the time she was a 19th level barbarian and had been; Level 12 warrior, level 6 ranger and a level 13 paladin and samurai. Since changing to a barbarian (to get more hps) she had gained 1 hp from level 13-17, this was a bit of a let down as i thought she'd get quite good gains, then at level 18 she got 10hps, great, then another 6 at level 19. So anyhow, i levelled her up to level 20, 66hps!!! i nearly fell off my chair! (and quickly saved the game) Now she is the ultimate tank, as she has level 12 shield skill, and 100% fire and cold resist (only the hydra's poison breath would affect her). So for the people out there who get annoyed when getting 1hp, don't dispair, as things will turn out right in the end so just have fun playing the game.

You get one hp when you are under your highest level for another class. once you get to the highest you have been, you will start getting more. A good quicky is the Magic Lamp wish.

I think a 66 hp increase is totally cool in a one level gain!

there is a site that says that the hp increase is randomly generated and if you save and the load you can get more.
I tried that and i get like 7 for wizards and about 15 on a regualr basis for my warriors (before they become barbarians) well that my 2 cents... |

Johnj,
I tried this and could never get any more than 10 per level for warriors and 3-5 for my wizard. This took about 15-30 min per character. I finally gave up after level 7 when I was satisfied that they could survive battles and let "the catch-up" method work for me. I never saw anymore than 26 hps in one level gain for any of my characters and thought I was doing good. They had enough to survive and beat the game at least, that is what counted. ; ) Moni |
