Hey, Thanx Nanobyte, I knew I left something out..... But just 1 more problem I forgot to mention, I can't seem to enter the snake pits either, I don't seem to have the right keys...
I have covered as much of the temple as my 12 legs can carry me, but I can't seem to find anymore keys or artifacts.... please, please, help. |

Hmm. This may be a problem. That one Serpent mage, you meet him before anyone else. Have you found him, or did you kill him? If you talked to him, he gave you the key, and told you to clean out the Snake Pits. If you killed him, he dropped the key. Check to see if you have the Serpent Key. That is what is used on the lock to the Snake Pits.

Help! you guys, I need help. I've gone true many of the posted messages, some of them were close to giving me the answer but I've got a headache playing the same place over, and over again......
Can somebody Please tell me what I'm surpose to tell the serpent spirit after I've summoned it with the incents, nectar, and wand? I've heard that I need to find the answers in somesort of a book, but I've searched every where, and can't seem to find it..... if possible, can someone please tell me the password? Thanx alot.... I would appreciate it. |

Well, I can't remember what the answers are, but I can tell you how you can get them. You remember the Snake Pits you had to "clean out"? There was a Snake Idol down there. If you put that on the center slot in the Library (where you placed all four monkey Idols to get the Wand), a little gap should open up, and there should be The Servants Book. That tells you the answers.

Hey, Thanks, I've found the key; I used the "spirit eye" spell to locate the key. A really useful spell when one is stuck, just learned about it in the Forum. By the way, is there a bug in the spell "pry"? what does it do? and also what is the spell "artifact of fire, vine, etc" for?
And of yeah, I found a bug in the game which allows us to cheat. For example the Genie Lamp, you can reuse it more than once just by removing the lamp right after you've used it, before it disappears. |

Pry is best used for opening jammed doorlocks. Don't use it on chests if you think they may be trapped. It's a rather useless spell; a better one is the 5th level "Disarm Traps", which deactivates trapped locks and chests before opening them.
All the Artifact spells have to be used in the Temple or Wizard's Guild to Enchant or Bless items with qualities from those realms. Pascha just posted a great thread on the benefits of Enchanting and Blessing items. You must first get the Cabalism trait at the Temple to train in Blessing, and the Occultism trait from the Wizard's Guild to train in enchanting. Then you must have an appropriate Artifact spell for the realm you wish to enchant or bless with. A good hint is that the lower the spell level of the Artifact spell, the less useful it is. Artifact of Vines (4th level) just lets you toughen items (not worth it, IMO), whereas Artifact of Spirit (7th level) can be used to add +Hit bonuses to weapons and Regeneration to armor and other wearable items. -Sazerac |

Pry is useful if you throw it at a chest at a larger distance; most traps will go off without harming you.
