when i start the game the game window is all black
u can access configurations botom left but not much else could it be because im not runing a US version of windows ? does this appened to someone ? tank u for your help |

If you're running Windows 2000 you should search the forum for messages with that in the title. There is a problem with compressed AVI files, but I don't know the details.
Otherwise try to go to game options - graphics and try switching the video setting to software mode. If above things do not help please specify your operating system and video card. |

i have french windows 98 pentium 2 256 ram cd 32 x elsa erasor 3 graphic card 500 min swap file i run at desktop 600 480 and software mode .. tried different graphic modes too.

Then check if your windows configuration contains the video compression codecs: go to settings -> control panel -> add/remove pograms -> Windows setup, and check in the list if the video compression is present. If not install it. (I'm sorry I don't know the right terms in french; I hope you'll be able to find it anyway.)
