Ring of Saints

I've read that there is a ring of saints, somewhere in secret room in the crypt. I've searched it through, took a bottle and a scroll from the table, treasure from chest, but found no ring! Spirit eye spell shows only one white dot - the chest but that's all! Please help, tell me where this ring is.

The Ring only appears if you accept the quest from the Valeia Temple.

This is common for many of the "find it" quests (such as Mastus Sword in the Armory).

So, i have to finish the crypt, return to village, take the quest, again finish the crypt, again return to village? Ummm... By the way, i didn't get the quest from Gareth (is that his name?). Can i still finish it, or am i stuck forever?

Hi Kozak (does that handle have a story?)

You can return to the town at any point up until you have faced and defeated either the wizard or the warrior flame trap puzzles. If you are past that then you will need to continue on and beat Scabban first. Coming back after that ust means picking up the ring and walking back up from the stairs at the statue and back out. On my replay, I had all the party get this quest, complete it, and get credit, all before talking to the statue. If you can, go back and get the quests for Ring and sword before selecting the warrior or wizard path.
