sigh. i, erm, need help again. i get a chance to play the game for but 4 hours, and already ive come up with a garbagetruck worth of questions.
how do we get the stealth skill? im a thieves guild level 3 member, and my ninja still cant find any way of acquiring it. when do we finally get to learn the skill? also, ive envisioned the final roles of 5 of my party members to be as such: samurai valk assassin zenmaster ninja (dont worry, im quite aware that the valk and zenmaster roles come very late in the game. ive quite a few ascensions planned for the relevant characters in the meantime.) the question thus troubling me is this: my pixie priest. im thinking of 2 possibilities: priest --->warlock --->monk or priest --->monk --->warlock. im thinking that the monk would be the better final role, due to his better combat bonuses. but er, im also thinking that if i make his final role a monk, then my end state party would have no one to use wizard only items. any recommendations? thanks again ppl. |

Stealth you get by learning the trait "Cloak of Night", which I think you get at level 4 of the Thieves' Guild and Bushi Dojo Guild levels. After you acquire "Cloak of Night", you can start learning Stealth. Also: Ninjas acquire this trait automatically.
Tough call on the other. I'd say it's a toss-up on whether you want heavy magic or heavy fighting. Being that you've got so many fighters already, I'd say finish out with Warlock since that gives the best magic bonuses and you can round out your previous schools as well. Just my opinion. -Sazerac |

hmm..thing is, in my game, my ninja cant learn stealth. it simply doesnt show up as an option in the level up screen.
oh woe is me. now what do i do? then again, if cloak of night is taught by the thieves guild at lvl4, then stealth should be taught as well, AFAIK. damn. my ninja is lvl12 already, but he still cant creep around like hes supposed to. thanx saz. ps: erm, stealth will be taught later on at the guild right? cos otherwise, my ninja'll be something of an underachiever. |

Yep, stealth is taught at guild level 4, and is only available from Bushi Dojo and Thieves guilds. So go forward to the Boogre Caves! (4th level is Band of Boars quest for Thieves' guild).
