Anybody know where in a save game file the time of day is encoded? I
would like to write a small program to alter a saved game file to make the time about 9 AM but so far I can't figure out where the time is. If I load a game and then save about 5 min later the saved game files are quite different, even though I havn't moved an inch or done anything. I thought the only change would be the time. Not so. Maybe is all those roaches/rats? Or anti-hacking things? Any help appreciated. |

Time in this game seems to be rather oddly generated. There have been reports by players that day has passes in a relatively short amount of reality time and night went on for hours. There is no clock displayed for players on the screen so I'm not sure how the game is keeping track of when to change from day to night. If you figure it out - that would be great but I think you've picked a tough nut to crack!
