Recently another Centaur ambled up to me,clutching a sword whilst his companion attempted to give the impression that he knew wich end of his spear to poke me with (he never lived long enough to find out). The first Centaur opened his equine mouth and told me that "On hooves of fear we ride!".Now this just smacked of various heavy metal lyrics (especially Manowar) and had me listening to various tapes again before returning to my prefered Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and Neil Young collection. However the thing that got me suspicious is this: Centaurs don't ride! They might canter or gallop but ride?Never.Perhaps Sazerac will publish news about a riding Centaur (maybe riding a Crab of the Sea or another Centaur)? Just thought I'd mention it.That line bears a strong resemblance to lines from at least three separate Manowar songs (from separate albums too).
Just thought I'd tell yer. |

Interesting reference, Balgin! I'm going to have to get a Manowar CD and listen to it. Although I would hesitate to call the Centaurs "sexy"...greenish bodies with almost skeleton mouths...
Well, maybe Alicat will be able to catch one of them with a Mantrap as well! -Sazerac (See what's playing at the Archive!) |

I'll see what I can do, but you know those jungle lilies, rather particular on who they smooch.

Hmmm...Balgin, now that I think about it, the Centaur quotes run like:
"On trampling hoof we ride" "I'm going to kick your head in, two-stepper" "You two-steppers make me sick!" "Leave this land or pay the price!" "We don't want your kind here" It's close to the quote you gave, but not quite...still, DW and gang may have gotten inspiration from lyrics as well. Interesting "Easter Egg." -Sazerac |

Hmmm...green bodied Centaurs with skeleton-like faces. Centaurs are half horse and half man, Lillies are green, skeletons are DEAD! Sounds like some inbreeding I want less details about!
You sure this is Gael Serran and not the Midwest/South, USA? ; ) Moni BTW, On my first encounter with these creatures, I heard "I'm going to kick you head in two-stepper!" with the word "kick" being emphasized by one of my characters taking some heavy damage from behind! LMAO,it suprized me as well as having cracked me up |

Centaurs do ride, but only in mating season
For the Worgurs the mating season seems to last all year long, or are they just happy to see me? |
