o.k. i killed cets evil b--chand can not get the gate open on the last treasure chest. i tried to turn both uppper swithces and they will not lock. i can't seem to figure this out? i've gone from side to side switching both and they will not lock. is there a clue anyone has?

I am assuming you are at the place where you are opening two doors with glowstones and there is a switch in each room above a small pool that you are turning.
Both doors have to be open here...you need two glowstones to keep the doors open.
Some have said you can draga chest into one of the doors to keep it open but I have never tried that.
With both doors open, and the switches turned, an alcove will open halfway between the two rooms (above the pool of water behind the stairs with the debris one them).
The chest you are looking for will be in that alcove.
