At Shuregan Castle, I've noticed that Spirit Eye shows several indications of items around the grounds outside the church area. I've never found anything. What am I missing? Or am I just seeing spots before my spirit eyes?

Spirit Eye will also show you ALL monsters in the vicinity - including moths, rats, fish, etc. Hey, they're worth 1 or 2 experience points each....

Yes, I know, but these are little white dots, not little red dots.

Starinth, the white dots will indicate any targetable object, not just treasure: including those "urns of old" that you can't move or do anything with in the Crypt, etc. More than likely, they're inside the Tower Area which you have to get to by going through the Sewers and past Lysandra. That area is actually "outside" of the Castle Dungeon, but still its own section within Shurugeon.

P.S. I noticed the same effect happen when I was in the wilderness area just outside of the entrance to Boogre caves...there were several white dots on the landscape and I nearly went crazy trying to figure out what they were...finally figured out that they were the levers in the entrance to Boogre Caves (which appear still if you haven't pulled them) and the chest with the Band of Boars in it, far underground...duhhhh (smacks head)

Thanks a lot for the info - now I can take some well-earned R&R in the Inn without worrying.

Sppirit Eye is one of the best little spells in Gael Serran! Took me a bit to figure out how to work it, though. You can only cast it on yourself. So select it (a Spirit spell) for your Priest character, then Ctrl-Left Click on the Priest.

but they are certainly a pain when you thought there's a group of hairy pigs coming at you but it turns out it's a group of butterflies....

Starinth,
The D'Soto tower area is external scenery, not internal (ie the external map reloads). So when you go past there you are likely to find I think 2 levels and a chest that are up on the upper levels. All of these will appear as white dots, but can oly be accessed by going through the castle. |
