Everyone keeps talking about the Mavin sword and that you use it to kill the dragon. Well, I'm a little confused here. I found the Mavin sword in the crypt and then returned to the Warriors Guild and as that was part of my guild quest, I turned the sword over. Now I don't have it. What should I do?

The sword you found in the crypt was the Mastus sword. The Mavin is given to you by Erathsmador in Dragonspire (if you meet all preconditions). The Marvin signet ring is the oher thing you got from the crypt.

Oh, and your not meant to kill the dragon with the Mavin after he gives it to you - he is one of the watchers - you swore an oath remember(although who am I to be judgmental - "Alas poor Oakenmir, I knew him Horatio, a tree of most infinite depth, most excellent branchery, he hath borne me in his boughs a thousand times, yet, now, ......"
