Greater Wolfwares

How do you kill the Greater Wolfweres in Balderan's ship?
I have Minsc berzerk with Cloud Giant strength, the werewolf amulet, and a +2 sword (Greywolf's) or a +1 morningstar, and all I get is " Minsc - weapon ineffective"!!!
Magic arrows seem to do 1 point of damage each, and I don't have enough to kill them that way.
The silver dagger does some damage but not much.

I killed the Greater Wolfwere using the silver dagger. But according to other sources, the Bastard Sword +3 against Shapeshifters is also effective against them. Another way is to have a thief sneak into the room (on the same level) at the north end, disarm whatever traps there are, and retrieve Balduran's Gold Sword (+4 against Lycanthropes).

So Greater Wolfweres ARE immune to "normal" magic weapons! I was wondering if you had to use blunt weapons or such. I'll try again.

I killed them useing brute force and no magic. I did do what mir-or did and disarmed the traps and got the sword, and I had the silver dagger. Good luck!
