I'm curious as to whether or not a spell can be cast from a scroll without a chance that it'll fail due to armor or shields being equipped.
I've got an idea for a Cleric character who would possibly take a Wizard level or two just to be able to read a few scrolls. TIA

Yes, even when your getting hit the spell wont fail if cast from a scroll in your quickslot.

Pretty much. Actually, I'm not even sure being silenced can stop you from reading scrolls. I'm pretty sure you can...
