Important: Dragon's Eye dead end {spoiling}

Well, I may have completely screwed up now. I have made it to the last level of Dragon's Eye. Right now i am at the point where i have to stop the High Priestess from casting her spell, i forget the name.

There doesn't appear to be a way to get to the Priestess in time to stop her. I don't know what i did wrong, but unfortunately i have quick saved it right after it tells me to stop her. There is not another Auto-save i can reload, and the last good save may be way back in Kuldahar. I think that i have screwed myself, and i really feel a real vengeance on the game, especially when it does this.

Someone must know the trick. Oh and my Haste spells don't seem to work, and i cannot pause the game. What could be wrong? Thanks guys, i hope that i can get through this.

Are you trying to run over there? if you are, just have the boatman take you to the embassy. If you're not trying to run over there, I don't think I can help...

Thanks LSO for the quick reply, but there is not enough time to get to the boatman by going to the right. If i go left, the roof falls on my chars. Right now i could care less about the roof hurting me, but another thing:
My main man "Bastinado" does all the talking but at this point in the game, he is "not permitted" to speak to anyone, i.e. the boatman. And i tried talking to him with someone else, and she was not allowed to speak to him either. Something is up, here. Lates

Did a spell effect such as deafen or silence hit your character? Either will prevent someone from talking. It may be a bug, but I don't know about bugs. I think you may need to load your game from Kuldahar...

The game should have made an autosave just before you enter that level. I think it is called something like: "Autosave, stop the spell" or something like that.

Make sure you are not silenced, that would prevent you from talking. If you still can't get to her, activate the cheats, then reveal the map, jump to the embassy, and kill her.

okay, have a rogue to run left to the boatman ( don't worry your rogue will not get hurt), the boatman will teleport all your chaarcters to where she is. immediately use someone to cast finger of death at her ( she'll die immediately ) and get the hell out.

Okay, okay, so i didn't try hard enough. I found some kind of a walkthrough and it said i would have minimal time. Then i reloaded the game and did just as you guys said. Now i am back in the Ice Palace, and fine, with all my chars! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I believe that it was just some kind of a bug that would not allow me to speak to the Boatman. When i reloaded everything was fine. Lates!
