Quick Spells

This is probably a stupid question, but how do you asign spells to quickspell slots, i could'nt find out in the instructions, I fell stupid as i have completed bg 1+2 and and part of icewind dale and cannot use a quickspell slot!!!

Wow...that was a dumb question...but since you wer ebrave enough to subject yourself to everyone else's ridicule, i shall tell you. right click on the darkened spell symbol...then right click on the now bright spell symbol...then assign away...and while your at it, it wouldn't hurt to do this with spell caster. do you know what they are? LoL, im j/jy there. Have fun quick casting

In IWD2 it is also possible to convert quick item slots or special abilities to spell slots. Comes in VERY handy for mages and clerics! [img]smile.gif[/img] Having six or seven active spell slots saves for a lot of pausing in the game.

You also can do that crazy thing where you have a cleric and you can convert the spell into a cure or harm spell by using shift and left clicking (is that right?) depending on your cleric's alignment, but thats for next class

Yeah, i managed to re-asign the buton to many things, but i thought the icon was another spell one thatjust took you to the list! THanks alot, it will come in handy. back in the days when men were men and rules econd edition, all you had to do was right click!! Ahh, the old days!

Does anyone actually convert their spells into Heal/Harm spells and use them?

Of course I convert my spells to heals. I never memorise healing spells now. I simply memorise protection and offensive spells, and when I need healing, I convert one into a healing spell.

And those converting healing spells are useful when you really just suck at this game liek i do...well, its not me, its just my party is 6 clerics of all different dieties! yipee!
