ok here's the deal...i was sent to fetch some arrows for the palisade from gallaway and such....i asked lil' swift-boy to take me to the town and he did, no worries...BUT when i asked him to take me back to the palisade it reset the game from my last quick save:-\ has anyone ever heard of this happening? it was a minor minor setback but it was annoying nonetheless...i redid that "quest" anyway but is that a very singular experience?

Sounds like your game burped. I did that same quest twice and didn't have any trouble at all either time.

damn, ok...it took another 5 minutes of my life to do it again, and it wasn't such a big deal, i just wanted to know if that was "normal" for little things like that to happen during the game

I wouldn't sweat it if you were able to get through the quest okay on the second run through. If it had been a repeatable error, it might have been an indication that something was fouled up in your game installation.

make sure you have all the patches loaded in the game. then check your config, and set it back one notch if it happens again I have found that if you have a sound card setting too high it can be the main reason the Infinity engine will crash to desktop
