Dual classing Imoen

I have just reached Baldur's Gate and Imoen has just reached level nine(80,000 exp i think)and I have TOTSC installed. I have decided to dual class her to a mage and I was wondering if it actualy possible with the TOTSC exp cap. I also wanted to hear other peoples opinions on what type of mage to dual to. The only other mage in my Party is Dynaheir (level 9 Invoker)

I don't believe you will be able to use imoens thief abilities again if you dual class her, no. Usually she is dualled at around fifth level give or take one.

You're probably correct Wilbur, however, what if he were to install the Experience Cap Remover? I have never used it before, so maybe it has to be installed before you start a new game - not sure?

It truly doesn't matter Wilbur. As long as he (Cutthroat) still has fun. I mean it's not like he's CLUAing a bunch of tomes, now that is cheating.

I'd do some research first on the experience cap remover before installing it because there are those that really messed up their games with it. I have found dualing Imoen to a mage after she attains 6th level thief is the best recourse.
