Severed hand seeds

You know how when you're at the top of the severed hand in the sacred garden and you talk to the priest who asks you to bring something to replenish the life of the garden. When and where do you get it from?

Buy the bird cage from Nym, find the seed in or near the kitchen in the Deep and there is something else, can't remember what.

EDIT: clean water, in the level with the ice trolls.

There are 4 things to get; and, if you get all four, this quest is worth about 425,000 experience!

1. Seeds
2. Birds
3. Squirrels
4. barrel of pure water (from Joril's cave in Wyrm's Tooth, IIRC)

Suppress the urge to separate Nym's body from his head until after you've purchased the birds, squirrels and anything else you might want.
