Welcome to the forum Michael,

Saving throws measue a character's resistance to special types of attacks, like magic, poison, staffs, breath weapons. Things like that. Saving throws help to reduce the damage your character might otherwise take.

Sorry I can't help you out with the bug problem, other than to make sure you have patch 1.06v installed.

I'm sure there will be a few more posts to help address this issue though.

Happy hunting,
Vixen

As for the bug; if you don't have the 1.06 patch, there is a work around. Try saving before fighting Poquelin, quit IWD and remove the "override" folder and put it on the desktop. Start IWD and try again, the scene should not pause. Save and put the override folder back.

Thank you everyone,

I'm gonna try all your advise...

As for the bug, i did install the 1.06 patch but the easthaven sequence is still nowhere to be found.

Can i still use that work around that you taught me?
